I inherited my grandfather's bike in the 1980s.I rode it for a few years. It fell into disrepair and sat in a shed for over 30 years. June 2018  I took it to 3CJ cycles in Longbridge, Birmingham. I asked the owner Clint Mathews, "can you restore this or do I take it to the tip". Of course he said he'd have a go with the restoration. 6 Months later it was complete.

In 1942 my grandfather cycled from Rubery to Abergavenny.To celebrate the completion of the work - I completed the same trip in May 2019. I then cycled over Severn Bridge to Stroud in Gloucestershire and the back home.
