Sunday 12th of May the bike headed to Abergavenny. Ian Dyus joined me for the whole trip whilst Mark Winson did the first 25 miles to Malvern.  At British Camp we met up with our day 1 support team (Pam, Steve, Jan and my Mum), We also met with Wendy (an in law) and her partner. From Here we headed to Ross on Wye where had lunch.  Then it down the B4521 to our destination.

Monday 13th May we left Abergavenny and headed to Chepstow via Usk. We had a 16% hill to get over, which involved a short walk. We crossed back into England over the original Severn Bridge. After a stop at the services for lunch.

The afternoon consisted of mainly riding up the A38, which was OK. The we headed across the motorway to Stroud. My verdict, horrible place to cycle! In the end we met up with an old friend Chris White.

Tuesday 14th May We left Stroud and headed north on the A46. The plan was to stop in Painswick for Breakfast. The problem was that the cafe was closed on Tuesdays! We finally found Primrose Vale Garden Centre nearly in Cheltenham. We cycled through Cheltenham onto the B4632 and over Cleeve Hill to Winchcome and Broadway. Then it was to Honeybourne, Bideford on Avon to Alcester. We cycled onto the Ridgeway then through Feckenham.
